Profesor Alfred Tomatis' method is auditory attention and hearing modification training at particular frequencieswhich affects both the improvement of auditory perception and permanent modification of the voice. Professor Alfred Tomatis proved that the hearing organ significantly affects the sense of balance, concentration, motor coordination, as well as muscle tension. The centers in the cerebral cortex are stimulated with the help of properly filtered sounds of Mozart's music and Gregorian chants. As a result, the receptive efficiency of the brain increases and the perception of external stimuli is improved, which enables the patient to have a higher level of functioning in the motor, linguistic, communicative and social spheres.
